The idea and initiative for a new Technology Center has its origin at Düzce University represented by Rector Prof. Funda Sivrikaya-Serifoglu and assoc.Prof. Serkan Subasi and has found broad support in industry resulting in the establishment of Düzce Teknopark A.S..

Architecture and Science Conference, France
II Architects int has been invited by the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Strasbourg, France to present their research practice and Düzce Teknopark. Sigrid Brell-Cokcan will talk about II A´s Teknopark design, teaching and robots in architecture.

The international scientific committe has chosen II Architects int to present their applied design and research of Düzce Teknopark at the 17th international Conference of the Association for Computer-Aided Architectural Design Research in Asia 2012 (CAADRIA) in Chennai, India.

After intensive research wood has been chosen as structural material for Düzce Teknopark. Wood will have a good impact on the general athmosphere of the foyer and individual offices. The cladding of the double curved facade will be lightweight concrete panels and glass elements.
